Effekseer Project, the developer of the open-source visual effects software for games, has announced that the latest major release version, Effekseer 1.5, has been released.
Effekseer is a tool for creating visual effects for use in games and other applications. You can create a variety of visual effects such as explosions and flash by simply specifying various parameters. The tool runs on Windows and macOS. The visual effects you create can be used in a variety of environments, including Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android. You can use plug-ins to play with game engines such as Unity and UnrealEngine4, as well as APIs such as DirectX and OpenGL.
Effekseer 1.5 is an updated version of Effekseer 1.4, which was released in September 2018.
